Coca-Cola Nepal launches FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign, appoints Pradeep Khadka as brand ambassador

KATHMANDU, APRIL 13 Coca-Cola Nepal has launched its FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign in Kathmandu, unveiling new brand partnerships, campaign creatives, and limited-edition FIFA-themed product packaging. The campaign was formally kicked off at an event in the capital, bringing together personalities from sports and entertainment. As part of the launch, the company announced actor Pradeep Khadka as its newest brand ambassador. Speaking at the event, Bottlers Nepal Managing Director Ajay Konale said the campaign aims to connect Nepali consumers with the global spirit of football through exclusive FIFA-themed products and activations. He added that the initiative is designed to enhance consumer engagement while reinforcing the brand's presence during major celebrations. New campaign faces were also introduced during the event, including national footballers Anjan Bista and Anjana Rana Magar, alongside actress Swastima Khadka. The trio highlighted football's growing popularity and its unifying appeal in Nepal. The event featured previews of the campaign's audio-visual content, including the official Coca-Cola anthem and FIFA World Cup television commercial, along with promotional advertisements. Coca-Cola also showcased its limited-edition FIFA World Cup packaging, which is expected to be rolled out in the Nepali market soon as part of the campaign. Globally, The Coca-Cola Company has maintained one of the longest partnerships in international sport, with ties to FIFA dating back to 1974 and official World Cup sponsorship since 1978. In Nepal, the brand has maintained a presence for over five decades. The company said the latest campaign seeks to blend its global legacy with the enthusiasm of Nepali football fans ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
