Wins for Police, Rukum West, Help Nepal; New Diamond leads women's table in 10th PM Cup

KATHMANDU, APRIL 26 On the fourth day of the 10th PM Cup NVA League, held on Sunday, Nepal Police Club, Rukum West Volleyball Club, and Tip Top Help Nepal registered victories in the men's category. In the opening men's match, Nepal Police Club defeated Budhanilkantha Volleyball Club in straight sets 25–22, 25–17, 25–18. NPC Head Coach Chandra Kunwar said he was pleased with the team's performance. 'To be honest, Budhanilkantha played very well today. We are looking to deliver a better performance against Khilgi Youth Club in tomorrow's match.' Rukum West Volleyball Club overcame Khilji Youth Club 25–22, 25–18, 26–24, while in the final match of the day, Tip Top Help Nepal defeated Koshi Province Volleyball Club 25–22, 25–12, 25–11. APF and New Diamond shine in women's category In the women's section, both APF Club and New Diamond Youth Sports Club secured victories on Sunday. It was APF's second win of the tournament, while New Diamond continued its impressive run with a third consecutive victory. At the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar, APF defeated Sudurpaschim Volleyball Club 25–17, 25–10, 25–9 in the first match of the day. APF had earlier defeated Sudurpaschim in their opening match but went down to Everest Volleyball Club in the second. In the second women's match, New Diamond defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 25–18, 25–16, 25–19. With nine points, New Diamond remains at the top of the standings, having previously defeated Sudurpaschim and Everest. A total of six women's teams and eight men's teams, selected through club championships, are competing in the tournament.
