KATHMANDU, APRIL 29 Deputy Foreign Minister of Portugal, Dr Ana Isabel Xavier, is arriving in Nepal on an official visit from April 29 to May 1 at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai. During the visit, she will hold bilateral talks with Foreign Secretary Rai and pay a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal on April 30. The meetings will review Nepal–Portugal relations and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Dr Xavier will be accompanied by Portugal's non-resident Ambassador to Nepal João Ribeiro de Almeida and other officials.
