KATHMANDU, MAY 3 The Everest Hotel Kathmandu, one of Nepal's leading upscale city hotels, has announced the appointment of Pramod Dashora as General Manager effective April 20, 2026, and Kumar Manish Singh as Director of Sales and Marketing. 'Together, these two appointments represent the most significant strengthening of the hotel's senior leadership team in years - and a clear statement of intent as the hotel prepares for a major expansion of its inventory in late 2026 and early 2027,' the hotel said in a statement. Dashora brings to The Everest Hotel an extraordinary depth of international hospitality leadership spanning over three decades. His career encompasses some of the world's most recognised hotel brands - Accor across multiple brand standards, Taj Hotels and IHCL, ITC Hotels, Radisson and Sheraton - giving him a breadth of operational and commercial experience that is exceptionally rare in the South Asian hospitality landscape.
Most recently, Dashora served as General Manager of Operations at Averiana Hotels and Resorts in Bangalore, India, where he led operational excellence and business performance across multiple properties. Dashora is among the most credentialled General Managers in Nepal's hospitality sector. He is a PhD Scholar in Management specialising in HR and Hospitality, an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak, holds a Post-Graduation in Hotel Management and Tourism, and an MBA in Marketing from the United States. He takes charge at a pivotal moment - with new room inventory opening in December 2026 and a full launch to 156 keys - including six Junior Suites and six Executive Suites - planned for January 2027. 'We are delighted to welcome Pramod Dashora to The Everest Hotel. Pramod brings extensive leadership experience having served as General Manager across leading hotels, including Essentia Luxury Hotel and multiple Accor properties,' the statement added. Singh joins The Everest Hotel Kathmandu as Director of Sales and Marketing with a mandate that spans both Nepal and India - one of the few DOSM appointments in Kathmandu's upscale hotel market to carry an explicit dual-market commercial remit. He brings over seven years of uninterrupted Director and senior commercial leadership experience across some of India's finest hotel brands, and a depth of India source market relationships that is of immediate and significant value to Everest's revenue growth strategy. His career reflects the most respected names in global hospitality.
What distinguishes Singh's appointment most powerfully for The Everest Hotel is the depth of his FTO, DMC and travel agency network in Delhi and the wider North India market. India - and Delhi in particular - is Nepal's single largest source market for both leisure and MICE travel. Over the course of his career at Andaz Aerocity, Radisson Blu Udaipur and across the North India market, he has built trusted, production-ready relationships with the tour operators, DMCs and travel agencies that direct the highest volumes of India-Nepal travel. 'Delighted to welcome Kumar Manish Singh as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Everest Hotel Kathmandu. Manish brings strong commercial leadership experience as Cluster Director of Sales at Radisson Gwalior, Regional Director of Sales at Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort and Spa, Associate Director of Sales at Andaz Aerocity New Delhi, and Associate Director of Sales at the Chancery Group of Hotels. As our commercial engine, he will drive higher revenues and stronger yields across all segments. We are confident he will bring the clarity, pace and strength this team needs,' the statement added.
