KATHMANDU, MAY 12 The National Examinations Board (NEB) has published the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of 2082 BS, with 65.98 percent of students graded. The results were announced on Monday evening, 29 days after the examinations concluded, following a directive to publish within the stipulated timeframe. According to Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Chunamani Paudel, a total of 430,667 students appeared in the examinations this year. Of them, 284,160 students were graded, while 146,507 were non-graded. As per the results, 48,392 students secured a GPA between 3.6 and 4.0, while 80,372 obtained between 3.2 and 3.6 GPA. Similarly, 94,222 students scored between 2.8 and 3.2 GPA. Likewise, 55,977 students achieved GPA between 2.4 and 2.8, 5,190 students scored between 2.0 and 2.4, and seven students secured GPA between 1.6 and 2.0. Students receiving non-graded (NG) results will be required to appear for grade improvement examinations. Those failing in up to two subjects can sit for immediate re-examinations, while students with more than two NGs must reappear in the regular examination next year. The NEB expedited evaluation and processing this year by conducting answer sheet checks at examination centres, enabling the results to be published significantly earlier than last year.
