Both Houses of the Federal Parliament to convene today

KATHMANDU, MAY 18 Meetings of both Houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to be held today. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting of the House of Representatives will begin at 11:00 am, followed by the National Assembly meeting at 1:15 pm. In the House of Representatives, Chairperson of the Draft Committee Ganesh Parajuli is slated to present a proposal to deliberate on the 'Report of the House of Representatives Regulations Draft Committee, 2083'. The meeting will also commence discussions on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2083/84, excluding tax proposals. Similarly, the National Assembly is scheduled to begin discussions on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming fiscal year, excluding tax-related provisions.
