By THT Online

KATHMANDU, MAY 28 Ncell has received ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, reinforcing the telecom company's commitment to quality management and environmental sustainability. The ISO 9001 certification relates to Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring organizations maintain consistent processes to meet customer and regulatory requirements. ISO 14001, meanwhile, focuses on Environmental Management Systems (EMS), guiding companies in reducing environmental impact and improving sustainability practices. Ncell said the certifications build on its earlier ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 certifications for information security and privacy management, which the company obtained last year and renewed this year. Chief Executive Officer Michael Foley said the certifications reflected the company's commitment to delivering quality services across business-to-consumer, business-to-business and government sectors while ensuring globally recognised governance standards. According to the company, the certifications are expected to strengthen operational efficiency, improve service reliability and support environmentally responsible operations in Nepal's growing digital sector.
