KATHMANDU, MAY 29 The Cabinet has approved the annual budget for the fiscal year 2083/84. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today endorsed the budget statement for presentation in the Federal Parliament, government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel said. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the annual estimates of income and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year at a joint session of the Federal Parliament at 4 pm today. As per the constitutional provision, the government is required to unveil the national budget on Jestha 15 every year.
