KATHMANDU. JUNE 9 Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday filed a corruption case against Birgunj Metropolitan City Mayor Rajesh Man Singh and six others, accusing them of facilitating the acquisition of Nepali citizenship using forged documents. Others named in the case include Birgunj-3 Ward Secretary Bhikhari Raya, ward member Tufail Akhtar Thakurai, former Parsa District Administration Office administrative officer Shad Kumar Pokhrel, former Home Ministry under-secretary Pushkar Rana, section officer Parshuram Pokharel and Rita Bhattarai of Indrawati Rural Municipality-10, Sindhupalchowk.
