KATHMANDU, JUNE 11 The House of Representatives on Thursday unanimously approved a proposal to consider the Nepal Rastra Bank (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle had tabled the proposal, which was endorsed by the lower house after discussions by lawmakers from various parties. Responding to lawmakers, Minister Wagle said the amendment bill was necessary to strengthen the autonomy and independent functioning of the central bank in line with evolving economic and financial needs.
