KATHMANDU, JUNE 13 Celebrity chef Santosh Shah has been arrested on charges of issuing a dishonoured cheque, police said. The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office took Shah into custody from Mahottari district on Friday night after obtaining permission from the District Court, Kathmandu. He was brought to the capital on Saturday for further investigation. According to Police Inspector Sarat Kumar Thapa Chhetri of the Crime Investigation Office, Shah is accused of issuing a bounced cheque in connection with the purchase of a restaurant in Gairidhara, Kathmandu. Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
