Pakistan Embassy, PNAN organise free medical camp in Nagarjun

KATHMANDU, JUNE 15 The Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal, in collaboration with the Pakistan Nepal Alumni Network (PNAN), organised a free medical camp at Ward No. 4 of Nagarjun Municipality on Saturday. According to a press release issued by the embassy, doctors, mostly graduates of Pakistani medical institutions, provided free health services to more than 100 local residents, including senior citizens, women and children. The medical team also referred several patients requiring advanced treatment to tertiary hospitals and distributed essential medicines free of charge. The programme was attended by PNAN President Dr. Deepak Mishra, Nagarjun Municipality Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari, Ward Chairperson Laxmi Ram Sharma, local representatives and community volunteers. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Adhikari thanked the Pakistan Embassy and PNAN for organising the health camp for local residents. PNAN President Dr. Mishra appreciated the embassy's continued support to Nepal's health sector and acknowledged its assistance in promoting community healthcare initiatives. The embassy also expressed gratitude to volunteer physicians and local authorities for their support in making the programme successful.
