KATHMANDU, JUNE 18 LG Electronics Singapore, in partnership with CG Electronics, has launched the 'LG Essential Series' home appliances in Nepal, targeting affordability and local household needs. Unveiled at an event in Kathmandu, the product line includes refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners designed for Nepali conditions such as low water pressure, humidity and power efficiency needs. The refrigerator features frost-free technology and enhanced storage capacity, while the washing machine is equipped with a durable motor and low-pressure water operation support. The air conditioner offers energy-efficient cooling and heating with low noise performance. CG Group Managing Director Nirvana Chaudhary said the new series reflects LG's commitment to making advanced technology more accessible to Nepali consumers. LG Electronics Singapore officials said the product line was developed based on consumer insights from Nepali households. The products will be rolled out nationwide from June 2026, with prices starting at around Rs 49,690.
