Gold extends losing streak, down Rs 5,900 per tola in two days

KATHMANDU, JUNE 30 Gold price continued their downward trend in the domestic market on Tuesday, falling by Rs 4,500 per tola, a day after posting a decline of Rs 1,400 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 277,900 per tola, down from Rs 282,400 per tola on Monday. Over the past two trading days, the precious metal has lost Rs 5,900 per tola. Silver price also declined on Tuesday. The federation fixed the price of silver at Rs 4,285 per tola, down Rs 25 from Rs 4,310 per tola a day earlier.
