NYEF Lalitpur elects Anukul Shrestha as president
New executive committee vows to strengthen entrepreneurship, innovation and youth leadership.

KATHMANDU, JUNE 30 The Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum (NYEF) Lalitpur Chapter has elected Anukul Shrestha as its new president during the chapter's annual general meeting. Leading a newly elected executive committee, Shrestha said his priority would be to strengthen Nepal's entrepreneurial ecosystem by promoting innovation, supporting young businesses and encouraging sustainable entrepreneurship. Addressing the gathering, FNCCI President Anjan Shrestha stressed the growing role of young entrepreneurs in driving Nepal's economic transformation and reaffirmed the federation's support for improving access to finance, mentorship and business networking. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, in a recorded message, said Nepal's young population represents one of the country's greatest strengths and called for greater investment in entrepreneurship and innovation to generate jobs and economic growth. The AGM also discussed startup development, public-private collaboration and measures to improve Nepal's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
