Yango Ride, Traffic Police launch road safety campaign for 200 new riders

KATHMANDU, JULY 3 Ride-hailing platform Yango Ride, in collaboration with Nepal Traffic Police, has launched a road safety awareness programme for new motorcycle riders in Kathmandu. During the programme, fleet partner Innohub Pvt. Ltd. handed over 200 motorcycles to new riders and distributed more than 200 helmets and raincoats. Traffic police provided training on monsoon riding, traffic regulations, road safety and responsible driving practices. Yango Ride Nepal Country Manager Santosh Pandey said the company aims to create a safer transport ecosystem that benefits drivers, passengers and local businesses. 'Safety remains our top priority. Through our partnership with Nepal Traffic Police, we are equipping drivers with the knowledge and safety gear needed to operate responsibly,' he said. Yango Ride said it plans to continue working with local partners to expand safe and reliable transport services while creating employment opportunities for riders.
