By THT Online

KATHMANDU, JULY 13 FOTON has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) after-sales network in Nepal by opening five new authorised Total Care Shield Service points in Bhaluwang, Baglung, Lalbandi, Chapur and Lahan. With the latest expansion, the company's nationwide after-sales network has grown to more than 21 service locations, aiming to improve access to maintenance and repair services for EV owners across the country. According to the company, the new service centres will provide manufacturer-approved maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, repairs and warranty support. They are equipped with specialised diagnostic tools for FOTON electric vehicles and staffed by trained EV technicians using genuine spare parts. The expansion is expected to benefit commercial fleet operators, logistics companies and educational institutions by reducing vehicle downtime and improving access to after-sales support outside major urban centres. FOTON said the move comes amid growing adoption of electric vehicles in Nepal and is intended to enhance vehicle reliability, extend service life and reduce travel time for customers seeking maintenance services. MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd, the authorised distributor of FOTON vehicles in Nepal, said it plans to continue expanding its service network to support the country's growing electric commercial mobility sector.
