KATHMANDU, JULY 16 Siddhartha Bank Limited has launched a new lending product called Siddhartha Gold Loan, allowing customers to use gold and gold jewellery as collateral to secure loans of up to Rs 5 million, the bank announced on Thursday. Under the scheme, the bank will extend loans of up to 75 percent of the assessed value of pledged gold. The facility is currently available at the bank's New Road Gate branch in Kathmandu.
