SARLAHI, JULY 26 Police have seized 330 kilograms of marijuana from a poultry farm in Sarlahi and arrested one person in connection with the haul. Acting on a tip-off that marijuana was being unloaded from a pickup truck at a poultry farm in Dumariya of Balara Municipality-7, a joint team from the Madhubanigau Police Post and the Area Police Office, Gadhaiya, raided the premises on Saturday afternoon. During the operation, police recovered 330 kg of marijuana concealed in 19 packages. They also seized 1,300 kg of ginger stored in 26 sacks from the site. Police arrested 28-year-old Amarjit Raut of Balara Municipality-7 in connection with the case. Further investigation is underway, police said.
