CDSC to suspend Mero Share services for accounts with unpaid annual fees

KATHMANDU, JULY 27 CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC) has directed all Depository Participants (DPs) to suspend Mero Share services for beneficiary account holders who have not paid their annual account maintenance fees. In a notice issued by CDSC, it said the decision was taken in accordance with the Central Depository Services Regulations, 2010, to address issues arising from unpaid annual charges for beneficiary (Demat) accounts. Account holders have been given until July 31, 2026 (2083/04/15 BS) to clear their outstanding annual maintenance fees. CDSC said Mero Share services for accounts with unpaid dues will be suspended from the night of August 1, 2026 (2083/04/16 BS) if the fees remain unpaid. The notice has been sent to all depository participants, asking them to implement the decision and inform affected account holders accordingly.
