KATHMANDU: A meeting of the High-Level Political Mechanism was postponed on Saturday after NC President Girija Prasad Koirala was taken ill. “He is suffering from urinary tract infection,” said Dr Man Bahadur KC, Koirala’s physician. KC said Koirala will be able to take part in the meeting by Monday. “When the three leaders (PM Madhav Kumar Nepal, Prachanda and Jhalanath Khanal) reached Koirala’s house, he requested them to start talks without him. The leaders said they would sit only after Koirala gets better,” NC leader KP Sitaula said.
