KATHMANDU, AUGUST 11 Cimex Inc, the authorised distributor and service provider of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has launched a nationwide customer care campaign aimed at enhancing after-sales services, vehicle connectivity and ownership protection for existing customers. The 'BYD Update to Care+' campaign was inaugurated at Cimex Care, the BYD service centre in Guheshwori, and is now available across the company's 13 service centres nationwide. Under the campaign, eligible BYD vehicles delivered before September 2024 that did not previously have connected-car features will receive complimentary BYD App connectivity and infotainment activation. The campaign has three components-Care+, Connect+ and Protect+. Protect+ provides insurance consultation and renewal assistance, extended warranty guidance, including a 10-year extended warranty for eligible vehicles, and cashless accident and claim support through Shikhar Insurance and Himalayan Everest Insurance. Eligible customers will also receive discounts and complimentary services, including 10 percent off battery covers, spare tyres and dent-and-paint services, as well as a one-time free home charger check-up. Existing eligible customers who have not previously received app access will also receive six months of free BYD App connectivity data with the infotainment feature. Cimex CEO Sahil Shrestha said the campaign brings professional servicing, connectivity and ownership protection under a single initiative.
