The Meteorological Forecasting Division said Janakpur could record a maximum of 38–40°C, while Dhangadi could reach 37–39°C. Nepalgunj, Bhairahawa and Biratnagar are also expected to see temperatures of up to 38°C. At the same time, heavy rainfall is likely in parts of Gandaki, including the Himalayan and hilly regions, as well as in parts of Bagmati, Koshi and Lumbini provinces. Pokhara is forecast to receive heavy rain with thunderstorms, with a 40% chance of rain during the day and 60% at night. The weather is expected to become wetter in several areas overnight.
