Royal Enfield launches Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in Nepal

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 23 Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in Nepal, a special edition motorcycle inspired by the heritage and traditions of the Gorkha community. The motorcycle features a distinctive Gorkha Green colourway and a bespoke insignia of crossed khukuris. It is also equipped with an Assist and Slipper Clutch for smoother gear shifts. The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition retains the motorcycle's signature upright riding position, classic design and J-series engine platform. Royal Enfield said the edition is intended to celebrate the courage, resilience and honour associated with the Gorkha heritage. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, chief commercial officer of Royal Enfield, said the edition was designed to honour a heritage deeply rooted in Nepal while retaining the Classic 350's character. Alpha Automotive Distributor and Managing Director Harsh Wardhan Sanghai said the new edition was expected to appeal to Nepali riders who value the motorcycle's design, authenticity and craftsmanship. Alongside the motorcycle, Royal Enfield has introduced the Gorkha Collection, a range of riding gear, apparel and accessories inspired by Gorkha heritage. The collection includes high-ankle distressed leather boots, dual-certified Jet and Quest helmets, multifunctional headgear, lifestyle apparel and collectibles. The collection incorporates design elements including crossed khukuris and the traditional Nepali Dhaka weave, with colours including Gorkha Edition Green, regimental crimson, tactical olive green, matte black and warm bronze. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is available at authorised Royal Enfield dealerships across Nepal at a maximum retail price of Rs 599,000.
