NADA Auto Show 2026 preparations complete, parking arranged at two sites

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 25 Preparations for the 18th NADA Auto Show 2026, scheduled to begin on Wednesday at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Centre, have been completed, the Nepal Automobile Association (NADA) said on Tuesday. More than 215 stalls have been set up for the exhibition, with organisers saying the stalls are more spacious and systematically arranged than in previous years. The exhibition has been divided into five major sections covering four-wheelers, two-wheelers, financial institutions, auto parts and garage equipment, as well as the 'Made in Nepal/Made for Nepal' and 'International Business' pavilions. A total of 53 vehicle brands, 70 auto parts and service companies and around 11 banks and financial institutions are participating in the show. Visitors will be able to access information on vehicles, financing and insurance, followed by after-sales services and auto parts. The venue has also been made wheelchair-friendly and equipped with lighting, air conditioning and fans. NADA has arranged visitor parking at the ground-floor parking area of Nepal Police Club and the National Trading premises in Sundhara. The exhibition will open at 10:30 am on Wednesday, with Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav scheduled to inaugurate it. Tickets are available through the Khalti app and the official QR code. Entry has been fixed at Rs 200 for general visitors and Rs 150 for students. The organisers have also set up traffic management and media desks, a cafeteria and emergency health services. CCTV surveillance and a fire-control system have been installed for safety and security.
