KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 11 Newly appointed Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Deepak Kumar Sah has pledged to address problems in the sale and distribution of cooking gas through consultations with stakeholders. Assuming office at Singha Durbar on Thursday after taking the oath of office and secrecy at Shital Niwas, Sah said the ministry would take necessary steps to ease cooking gas supplies. 'We will take necessary steps to ease the supply of cooking gas by holding adequate discussions with stakeholders,' he said. Sah added that he would also consult outgoing minister Gauri Kumari Yadav and use suggestions from former ministers and stakeholders to improve the supply system. Yadav resigned from the post on Thursday, submitting her resignation to Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
