KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 15 The team at Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel has contributed Rs 1.5 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund to support communities affected by the recent floods in Nepal. The contribution was made jointly by the hotel's associates and the hotel as part of an initiative to support flood-affected communities during the ongoing relief efforts. In addition to the financial contribution, the hotel team donated essential relief materials worth more than Rs 300,000 to Hami Nepal for distribution among families affected by the floods. The hotel said the initiative was intended to provide immediate support to affected families and reflected its commitment to standing in solidarity with communities facing hardship. The contribution comes amid continuing relief and recovery efforts following the recent floods that affected several parts of the country, causing loss of lives, displacement and damage to homes and infrastructure. Aloft Kathmandu Thamel said its team would continue to support communities in need through initiatives aimed at providing assistance during the disaster and recovery period.
