KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 24 Zonta Club of Kathmandu has renewed its memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bhanu Secondary School and Sanskrit Secondary School to continue supporting their libraries at the premises of Durbar High School. The MoU was signed by Zonta Club Kathmandu President Mridula Rajbhandari, Bhanu Secondary School Principal Sharada Kumari Poudel and Sanskrit Secondary School Principal Shiva Raj Adhikari. The club has provided more than 1,677 books to the two schools since 2021 with support from Maya Rana Tofu in memory of her late father, Prabhakar SJB Rana. More than 40 students participated in the handover programme, where they shared their experiences and reflections on the importance of access to libraries and reading in their learning and personal development. The initiative is part of Zonta Club Kathmandu's efforts to promote education, access to knowledge and women's empowerment through service and advocacy.
