The department said mostly cloudy conditions will prevail across the country. Moderate rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at most places in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, and at many places in Sudurpashchim Province. Moderate rain with thunderstorms is also expected across much of the hilly and Tarai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini, as well as many parts of Sudurpashchim and some areas of Madhesh Province.
