DHANKUTA, SEPTEMBER 30 A bitumen distributor operated by Apco Infratech Pvt. Ltd. caught fire while heating bitumen for road construction work along the Dharachok section of the Bhedetar-Ravi-Birke road in Chaubise Rural Municipality-6, Dhankuta, on Wednesday. According to the Area Police Office, Rajarani, the vehicle, bearing Indian registration number UP 42 BT 6925, was parked on the roadside when it suddenly caught fire at around 11 am. The fire completely destroyed the bitumen distributor before it could be saved. Police said no human casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
