BARA, OCTOBER 11 Police have arrested a 45-year-old man with 55 kilogrammes of marijuana in Pacharauta Municipality of Bara district. The suspect has been identified as Rajkishor Prasad Yadav, a resident of Ramnagar Tole in Ward 3 of Pacharauta Municipality. According to police, a patrol team from the Area Police Office, Simraungadh, noticed Yadav acting suspiciously on a road in Ward 6 of Pacharauta Municipality at around 10:45 pm on Saturday. Police said a search conducted by the patrol team led to the recovery of 55 kilogrammes of marijuana from his possession. Following the seizure, Yadav was taken into custody and transferred to the Area Police Office in Simraungadh. Police said the investigation is continuing under the Narcotic Drugs Control Act. Authorities have not disclosed additional details regarding the origin or intended destination of the seized cannabis. Police said further investigation is underway.
