KATHMANDU: NIDC Capital Market Pvt Ltd, issue manager of initial public offering (IPO) of Biratnagar based Nerude Microfinance Development Bank Ltd allotted 60,000 units of shares to 3,972 people including 2,400 units to employees on Sunday. The microfinance bank's IPO opened from December 1 to 5, 2009. Around 67,822 people including 154 employees had applied for 27,57,951 units. Unity's dept store KATHMANDU: Unity Life International Ltd opened a department store at Jawalakhel of Lalitpur metropolis on Sunday. The department store has investment of Rs 30 million. Unity has a chain of department stores comprising seven big and 25 small stores with investment of Rs 200 million. The group has investment in dairy, hospital, rual development bank and bio-fuel. It also has a network of 17 hospitals across the country.
