LOS ANGELES: Leonardo Di Caprio insists on taking his mother on promotional trips around the globe, because he’s a ‘mummy’s boy’ at heart. He is currently at Berlin International Film Festival, promoting Shutter Island, accompanied by mum Irmelin Indenbirken and girlfriend. DiCaprio, 35, insists he’s proud of his close relationship with his mother. He says, “She just likes to come with me on such occasions. And when I have the opportunity to take someone with me, I’ll do her the favour. Especially Berlin — she’s got relatives here and loves travelling through Europe. She loves taking part in my life. You can call me a mummy’s boy, but I think it’s cool to have her with me”.
