KATHMANDU: V-Day/Nepal Campaign has come up with a V-Day and benefit production of Eve Ensler’s award-winning play ‘Any One of Us’ to raise money and awareness for local organisations that work to stop violence against women and girls. The play will be staged at the Nepal Academy at Kamaladi in Kathmandu on March 7. The “writings reveal the deep connection between women in prison and the violence that often brings them there,” a statement issued by V-Day/Nepal said here today. “The event will also feature a documentary celebrating women, followed by a grand finale choir performance,” according to the statement.
