Rs 5 lakh stolen KATHMANDU: A gang of unidentified persons on Thursday night had stolen Rs 5 lakh from a locker in cash counter of Himal Hospital, Naxal. According to the police, they had barged into the counter by smashing the door on the fourth floor and made away with the cash. Mourners' home KATHMANDU: Former chairman of Non-Resident Nepali Dr Upendra Mahato on Friday laid a foundation stone of a mourners' home at Pashupati. The estimated cost for the Phul Kumari Mourners' Home is put at Rs 30 million. According to Pashupati Area Development Trust, the home is expected to come into operation within the next one year.
