BAJHANG: The Nepal Airlines Corporation has halted air services in Bajhang-Dhangadi route after three decades of its service. Locals protested the decision of the NAC as it stopped the service without prior information. A recent meeting of the NAC had decided to stop services in the route effective March 16 citing ‘internal reasons’. Representatives of the political parties, civil societies and locals have decided to urge the NAC to withdraw the decision as locals have been affected due the closure of service. They have submitted a memorandum to the concerned authorities demanding withdrawal of the decision. They warned that they would intensify the protest if their demands were not met.
