Pakistan is to host an international meet here next week on revitalizing the Organisation of Islamic Conference to make it an effective interlocutor with the UN, the US and the rest of the world. The two-day meeting of Commission of Eminent Persons will begin May 28 to finalise recommendations for restructuring and revitalizing the 57-member OIC. The meeting is part of a plan to implement a Pak-sponsored resolution “Islam and Muslim World in 21st Century: Path of Enlightened Moderation”, Dawn reported.
