KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is scheduled to hold a joint consultation meet with four left fringe parties at his official residence Baluwatar on Friday. He is scheduled to meet with the leaders of the CPN-ML, CPN (United), Nepal Workers Peasants Party (NWPP) and Janamorcha Nepal. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nepal received the Prime Minister of Bhutan Jigme Thinley at the former's office at Singha Durbar. Thinley is in Nepal to attend the 13th day of death ritual of former prime minister Girija Prasad Koirala in Kathmandu. He is scheduled to return to his homeland in the evening. The PM is also scheduled to attend the same ritual. He has been busy in parleys with various leaders since the last few days for consultations on the ongoing political situation amid increasing criticism of his government.
