MAKHACHKALA: Officials in Russia’s volatile province of Dagestan said an explosion killed two suspected militants and left one wounded, a day after suicide bombings there killed 12 and a Chechen separatist leader claimed responsibility for an attack on the Moscow subway system earlier this week. Regional police spokesman Vyacheslav Gasanov said a makeshift explosive device went off in a car with the three suspects in the Khasavyurt district near the administrative border with Chechnya on Thursday.
