KHANDBARI: Police on Tuesday arrested a school teacher, Khadga Bahadur Gurung, on the charges of attacking a girl, Muna Khatri, with a khukuri in his neighbourhood. Police, who had reached the teacher’s residence to arrest him, also recovered a gun from his house. Gurung, a resident of Madimulkharka in Sankhuwasabha district is head teacher of local Bishwopremi Primary School. According to the Area Police Office, Chainpur, Gurung was under the influence of alcohol when he attacked Khatri.
