BHOJPUR: At least 16 families have been trapped in Kanduwa village in Pawakhola-6 of Sankhuwasabha district after landslides blocked ways to the village. Their life is at stake as landslides from Dumsimara, Bhirkuna and Chapleti cliffs destroyed trails to and from the village, locals said. A local Buddhi Bahadur Rai said as many as 60 persons are awaiting rescue in the village. Meanwhile, more than a dozen bridges were swept away by incessant rainfall-triggered floods in the district. However, no human loss has been reported so far in the district, according to DSP Kamal Thapa of Sankhuwasabha District Police Office. Sankhuwasabha is adjacent to Taplejung, where more than 50 people had lost their lives to the landslips since yesterday. READ ALSO:
