RATNANAGAR: The 25 earthquake survivors of Kaule-9, Guchiwang are to be shifted to the Jutpani School ground. Earlier, the District Natural Disaster Management Committee had planned to evacuate the people to the open ground close to the Kalima Temple at Shaktikhor. But the plan had to be dropped due to a dispute. The committee decided to shift these people to the school ground for the time being after the local political parties and the committee made the decision to that effect, Balram Luitel, the Information Officer at the Committee, said. It has been learnt that the fissures have developed on the ground at the remote Guchiwang in Kaule area of the district due to the earthquake, posing threat to the settlements.
