KATHMANDU: Police confiscated a cache of controlled drugs from a house in Bhanimandal, LSMC-1 on Saturday. A joint police team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau and Metropolitan Police Circle, Pulchok, raided a house of Rukmani Shrestha and confiscated 150 ampoules of diazepam, 152 ampoules of theragran and 146 ampoules of nuphorin. Police also seized chequebooks and Rs 2,000 cash from the site. Acting on a tip-off, police had raided the house. Shrestha is absconding and police have launched a manhunt to nab her.
