Kathmandu, June 4:

Impact Pvt Ltd is set to introduce a 24-hour mobile motorcycle workshop for the first time in Nepal. The service will be formally launched by the end of this month. The service has also been named Impact, which is a 24-hour mobile motorbike workshop. To receive the service one needs to be a member, states a press release issued here today. The company so far has set up physical parameters within the valley for the availability of the service. The company has termed it as ‘a rescue on call service’ and is available around the year. Impact will not charge extra for coming to customers place during daytime for the repairs, adds the release. The secondary service is maintenance of the motorbikes of all brands. The company claims to provide the services at less cost than in any other workshops or branded bike workshops. Impact will also provide pick up and delivery service — if need be — free of cost. It will also provide spare parts and fuel. At present, the total number of bikes is estimated at 200,000 in the Kathmandu valley. There are more than 10 brands. All of them provide maintenance services to their own brands only. However, there is no single organised service centre that caters to all brands. Impact service is only for its members that aims at providing quality repair and maintenance services around the clock.
