BHOJPUR: A boy went missing after he was swept away by the Arun River at Makalu VDC in Sankuwasabha on Tuesday. The boy has been identified as Bhim Bahadur Rai, 13, of the VDC. The incident occurred while he was fishing in the river, said police. He was there with his elder brother Dirgha Bahadur Rai. Dirgha said that the river had swept Bhim away as soon as he entered the water. Locals and police have been searching for him. Six shops burgled KHOTANG: As many as six shops were burgled at Arkhaule VDC in Khotang on Monday night. The shops belonging to Prakash Shrestha, Durgamani Shrestha, Bal Kumar Shrestha, Tej Kumar Shrestha of Arkahule Bazaar along with another shop belonging to Shankar Puri and Kanchha Rai were robbed. Arkhaule Police Post said that they were collecting details of the incidents.
