KATHMANDU: President Ram Baran Yadav has appointed advocate Lalit Bahadur Basnet as legal expert at the Office of the President. The President's Office said Basnet will provide the President with advice on legal affairs. He is entitled to facilities of a Minister of State. The appointment is effective from July 17, according to spokesperson at the President's Office, Chakra Bahadur Budha. Earlier, Basnet, a permanent resident of Rimuwa in Gulmi district, was working as a personal aide to the President.
