President of the NBA, Shambhu Thapa, in a reply sent to the Kathmandu District Administration Office (KDAO), has said that the KDAO’s act of issuing a summon in his name was illegal. He has asked the KDAO not to repeat such illegal action. Alleging Thapa and the NBA of defying the prohibitory order by holding a demonstration in restricted area, on Saturday, the KDAO had issued a summon in Thapa’s name, urging him to reply within three days on why shouldn’t an action be taken against him. Thapa said the march was held for the sake of democracy.
