Scotland thrash Nepal by nine wickets on reserve day

KATHMANDU: Nepal lost their second match of the ICC World Cricket League Championship against Scotland by nine wickets on Saturday. As the rain affected the play yesterday, the match was forced to play on a reserve day today at Cambusdoon, Ayr of Scotland. The hosts had received a revised target of 110 runs in 22 overs as per the DL Method against Nepal's 167 (Nepal 167 (49.1 overs). They met the target in 14th over. Nepal had lost their first match against the hosts on Wednesday. ----
Rain-hit Nepal v Scotland match resumes on reserve day KATHMANDU: The ICC World Cricket League Championship match between Nepal and Scotland, which was called off on Friday after a rainfall, has resumed on the reserve day on Saturday.
On Friday, Scotland were 15-0 in 1.4 overs while chasing a revised target of 110 in 22 overs at the match played at the Cambusdoon New Ground in Ayr.  The hosts need 95 more runs to win from 20.2 overs.
Nepal, however, had made a disastrous start losing the two openers for just 20 runs. They were bowled out in 49.1 overs for 167 runs.
