KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress on Saturday rescheduled the conventions of the party’s lower committees. The party, however, has not changed the date of its 13th national General Convention scheduled from September 19 to 22. According the new schedule, the party will hold VDC and municipal conventions on September 3, which will be 16 days later than the previous schedule. Similarly, the party has rescheduled its constituency conventions for September 8. The district conventions will take place on September 11, according to a press release issued by the party. The NC has mandated the party leadership to forge consensus with other parties to incorporate feedback received from the public in the new constitution. READ ALSO
