CPDCC discusses issuing constitution with demarcation of federal states

KATHMANDU: The Constitutional Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee's special committee on Monday held discussion on the issues related to demarcation of federal states and issuing the new constitution taking up the feedback collected from the people. The special committee includes top leaders of the major parties besides the CA's CPDCC members. Emerging from the meeting, UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the special committee would submit its report to the Constituent Assembly by tomorrow evening if it could not be prepared by today. 'Discussions are being held formally as well as informally. We are for finalising (the constitution) with demarcation (of Pradeshes),' Dahal told the media corps. Nepali Congress leader Purna Bahadur Khadka said that today's meeting was positive. The special committee will hold its next meeting later today.
